Ski Bunny

Kevin's friends daughter Skyler has been skiing for 2 years. He invited Kevin & Mackenzie along to Winter Park on Sunday. Kevin has been itching to take Mackenzie up all season but thought it would be best if she went with someone her age so she would view it as playing! We took her up 2 years ago and it was a disaster! The boots were enough to send her over the edge!

So off to rent some skis Kevin went with the girls. He wanted to rent them here so he could get her used to the boots and the feel in our front yard. When he got back he pushed her around in the front yard. As you can see she was loving it.

Our neighbor John spotted them in the yard practicing and asked if he could tag along because he had been itching to take his boys up too. This is looking like it is going to be good! Mackenzie will have 2 friends to ski with, Skyler who is experienced and Jake who is going up for the first time. So my dilema... do I go up and take pictures and video with Presley in tow or stay behind and leave it up to the boys to take photos of each other. I decided I would stay behind, hence not 1 stinking picture. Not even 1!! So enjoy the couple from our front yard.

The vedict for the day... GREAT!!

Mackenzie absolutely loved it. She said, "mom, dad said I am even better than you!" Little does she know, that doesn't take much!
