Mackenzie's BIG #7

Mackenzie's 7th birthday was a fairy garden party! I ordered all of the printables on Etsy I got it here
It was easy to coordinate after that! I was so excited to do a party at our house. We now live in a place that we can count on April being A.O.K. for outdoor parties. Hallelujah!!!
Here are some pics of the decor...
The birthday girl doesn't like cake, so I went with a cookie cupcake recipe I found on pinterest. I got it here I thought they were going to be a flop as they didn't cook the way they were supposed to, but they turned out delicious. I don't have a closeup, but I made the icing on the tops look like different flowers!
We had "Fairy Cakes"!

and "Fairy Fruit"!
and "Magic Wands"!
and "Enchanted Trail Mix"!

and "Garden Punch"!
We couldn't have a fairy garden party without lots of fairy gardens!

As the girls arrived they put on glitter makeup, mushroom earrings, and got fairy tattoos!
We had several crafts for the girls to do...
"Make a magic wand"
"Paint a fairy house" (miniature bird houses)
"Magical Chairs" (aka musical chairs)

"Make your own Fairy Dust"

Then we had cake time!
Followed by pinata time!

Then we had to do the Cha-Cha slide led by my fabulous 10 year old neighbor Avery!
This girl can seriously handle a party much better than me!!

We had so much fun! I highly recommend this theme for a party!!!

Emmie Cowgirl

I needed some cowgirl pics of Em to put in the playroom. I also wanted some cute pics of her in her cowgirl boots my mom bought her before she outgrows them!

Easter breakdown

So again it has been a really long time since I have blogged. I just can't seem to find the time anymore! I may have to throw in the towel soon. I am going to try to catch up once again!

We had a fun Easter season in our new city!

Presley dressed Emmie up one afternoon for a pretend egg hunt
The bunny came to visit the kids in childcare at the gym one day. Presley thought that was very cool! Emmie did not!!!
I couldn't believe I got a bunny pic without a screaming child. Emmie was in shock & awe!
As we were getting ready for the freezing cold Leander egg hunt Presley threw up! Poor baby didn't even care that she couldn't go. She just wanted to sleep! Kevin stayed home & I took the bookends to hunt. It was SO COLD...brrrr

The next day Presley was feeling much better. Kenz went to a movie with our neighbor, Emmie took a nap, & I took Presley to the Easter fest at her school. It was fun to have some individual time with her!

Pres had no interest in petting the animals but would pose for a pic.

We had Kevin's parents and brother over for Easter lunch & an egg hunt.
