Spring Program

The girls had their spring music program at school last week. Presley's class (the bunnies) sang a song about bunnies. Mackenzie's class (the lions) sang 2 songs about lions. Mackenzie also sang 2 songs in Spanish and a few other songs with the older classes.

Kenz was a little embarassed after dropping her maracas!

Presley just stared out into the office the entire time. She didn't cry though!! I had to stay hidden as I took these pictures or she would have come for me!

Mackenzie's lion face is priceless in this video!

Sesame Street Live

Since we went to Princesses on Ice which Mackenzie loved, we decided to go to Sesame Street Live for Presley's birthday. It was super cute! Presley just kept screaming the characters names at the top of her lungs. Mackenzie still is acting it out at home.

My Big 5 year old

Mackenzie officially turned 5 on April 11th! She is so excited, but mommy is a little sad. Now she will be off to kindergarten and I will miss being able to spend my days with my little BFF. Thank goodness kindergarten is only half day! I can ease into the idea of loosing her to school for 13 years.

Mackenzie is such a loving big sister. She gets the sweetest high-pitched voice when she is playing with her baby sister. She guides her around and tries so hard to get Presley to play with her. She says, "Come on sweetie pie let's go over here and have some tea". Presley does not always want to play along! I keep promising her that she soon will.

Kenz is doing so well in school. She knows about 15 sight words, can spell all 12 kids in her classes names, and can tell her teacher our address and phone number. This is crazy to me since I told her once about 8 months ago what they were. She loves to draw, paint, color, and spell out words.

Mackenzie is very busy in several activities. Her favorite is swimming with tap & ballet following closely behind. She also plays soccer which is sometimes fun & sometimes boring to her.

Mackenzie is very dramatic. I can't tell you how many times I have heard, "this is the worstest day of my entire life" or "this is the best day ever". She also is constantly saying, "Goodness sakes that didn't happen." (Instead of "thank goodness that didn't happen"). So cute! She has the raspiest voice and funniest laugh! I have had about 20 people ask me if I have gotten video of her voice and laugh. I need to make sure I do! Her new favorite thing to say is that she loves someone more than a heart. She got it from one of her books, so if she tells you she loves you, it is always followed by "more than a heart".

Here are a few funny things Mackenzie has said lately...
One of my favorite songs from Sunday school used to be Praise ye the Lord, Hallelujah! Mackenzie came home from school the other day singing it like this
"Hallelu, Hallelu, Hallelu, Hallelujah, Crazy the Lord.
Hallelu, Hallelu, Hallelu, Hallelujah, Crazy the Lord.
Crazy the Lord, Hallelujah
Crazy the Lord, Hallelujah
Crazy the Lord, Hallelujah
Crazy The Lord!!"
I tried to tell her it was actually "Praise ye the Lord". She didn't believe me and went on singing it her way.

Presley was crawling over Mackenzie who was lying on the floor. She pushed on Mackenzie's tummy. In her super annoyed voice Mackenzie said, "Ughh Presley, you made me toot without even pushing!"

We love our big 5 year old more than a heart!!

Princesses on Ice

The girls were given tickets to Disney princesses on ice for Valentines day. The big day finally arrived! Mackenzie wanted to wear a princess costume, but we almost had to miss the show over the fit she had about how itchy they all were. She finally settled on Cinderella although Belle & Arielle are her favorites! Presley was with daddy at his office, so we grabbed a dress for her to change into when we met up....

and here it is....... The dress for Presley was a 12 month dress. Oops! It was so small on her, but she didn't care!

My 1st Shiner

At Presley's party she climbed up on the cooler to try and lick the cake. She lost her balance and went head first into the lef of the table. She screamed uncontrolably until my mom gave her ice-cream. We never heard another peep out of her!

Happy Birthday x 2

Since my girls both have birthdays in April I decided to do a joint party this year! We had it at Monkey Bizness! The girls had a blast celebrating with their friends.

Mama's girls

Daddy taking them down the big slide My sweet baby girl Nothing like getting a shiner at your own party Loving her day

I made the cakes with some major imagination after my 1st plan fell apart around 9PM the night before

Notice the smaller shiner to match her sisters.
So happy Marmi & Rondi were here to help with the party!

Presley ate her entire cake. She was still going when they were clearing out the room for the next party
Mackenzie's school love triangle! LOL. Tristan and Eli
So excited about her Rapunzel vanity from Eli
